Elementary School

1 - School

In 1964 – 1965 the existing Central School building had become overfilled with students in grades K – 12 and so the Moravia Central School District began the construction of the new elementary school.  Moravia had been the birthplace and the boyhood home of Millard Fillmore, the 13th President of the United States.  THerefore Millard Fillmore Elementary School was named in his honer.  Today, the school serves  nearly 600 students in grades K through 6.  Approximately two hundred of those students are involved with the Millard Fillmore Elementary Music Department.
